Who This Is For

  • Solo founders or freelancers who want faster responses to leads
  • Small businesses that use Notion for tracking leads or forms
  • Teams that want simple, hands-off follow-up workflows

What This Automation Does

  1. Watches your Notion lead form for new entries
  2. Grabs key details: Name, Email, Notes
  3. Adds them to your CRM database in Notion
  4. Sends a personalized email reply to the lead via Gmail

What You’ll Need

  • A Notion account (start with Free tier)
  • A Make.com account (Get started with the Free or Core tier)
  • A Gmail account (or email connection)
  • ~30 minutes to set up the scenario (we’ll guide you)

🚀 Step-by-Step Setup

Step 1: Duplicate the Notion Databases

  1. Click here to duplicate the Lead Form
  2. Click here to duplicate the CRM

These are connected in the automation. You can customize fields later.

Step 2: Open the Make.com Scenario

  1. Login to Make.com
  2. Go to Scenarios > Import Blueprint
  3. Download the JSON file here
  4. Import it into Make

Make will ask you to connect your accounts:

  • Notion connection (use your duplicated workspace)
  • Gmail connection (follow the guide)

Step 3: Map Your Notion Databases

After importing, you’ll see:

  • Notion module 1: watches for new submissions in the Lead Form
  • Notion module 2: adds the lead to your CRM
  • Gmail module: sends an email to the lead using their name & email

Make sure to:

  • Map your actual database fields (e.g., Email, Name, Message)
  • Add a friendly subject + email body in Gmail module

Example Auto-Reply Email (edit in Gmail module):

Subject: Thanks for reaching out!

Body:

Hi {{Name}},
